Your absence in my imagination is killing me
You were never here and I already miss you
Thinking all my thoughts is rather damning
I wonder if you were my salvation
This season in life is cold as winter
Despite my visions and promises of summer
I have my dreams to hold me in the night
And sweet memories to console me in the day
Your absence in my imagination is killing me
You were never here and I already miss you

FYI: Not to take away from the poem, but did you notice anything about it? The last words of each stanza are oppostites.
